K-Labs will offer dedicated and shared laboratory facilities for multiple companies and researchers. Members will have 24/7 access to shared equipment, meeting rooms and office spaces. K-Labs is open to public and private partners that strengthen Kansas State University. The building will also include open-desk workspace, conference rooms, gathering space for casual or formal meetings and a lobby that can transform to host events.
This building is located directly across the street from the Kansas State University Ice College of Engineering and has quick access to the remainder of campus, including the K-State Student Union, College of Agriculture, College of Architecture, Planning & Design, College of Arts and Sciences, Edgerly College of Business, College of Health and Human Sciences, and College of Veterinary Medicine. The National Bio- and Agro-Defense Facility is located less than a mile north on Denison Avenue.
