Bluestem Grill to bring new local full-service dining options to community and K-State Office Park
August 22, 2018
Longtime local restaurateurs, Kevin Peirce ’92 and Jenny Glenn ’06 of Bluestem Bistro, have partnered with KSU Foundation to offer the community a fresh full-service dining alternative located in the newest addition of K-State Office Park at 1880 Kimball Avenue, suite 100. The new Bluestem Grill will open to the public August 23, during the first week of classes at Kansas State University.
“We are excited to bring the best of Bluestem to the university and community in the K-State Office Park,” said Keith Sutton, front-of-house manager and partner. “Bluestem Grill’s philosophy is that family is first, and to serve K-State family in this new way feels like we’re blazing trails to provide great food to Manhattan with an excellent view of Bill Snyder Family Stadium.”
With the inclusion of the full-service restaurant in the newly expanded office park adjacent to campus, K-State partners, visitors and the community have an additional option to host lunch and dinner for a few people.
A new ATA bus stop is located at the K-State Office Park to increase accessibility to the Bluestem Grill for all community members.
The addition of the Bluestem Grill to the office park further supports the professional, research and academic global partners moving into the innovation ecosystem that the KSU Foundation is developing to strengthen Kansas State University.
As Kansas State University’s strategic partner for philanthropy, the KSU Foundation inspires and guides philanthropy toward university priorities to boldly advance K-State family. The foundation is leading Innovation and Inspiration: The Campaign for Kansas State University to raise $1.4 billion for student success, faculty development, facility enhancement and programmatic success.
